This is a nice, clean, Hungarian Femaru Model 1937 made for the German Military in 1941. The magazine is numbered 46809 and the gun is 46843, likely made the same day within hours of each other. While it is not numbered to match this exact pistol, it is extremely close being 34 numbers away. This WW2 pistol comes with one original 7-round factory original magazine in very good condition. This Model 1937 should function perfectly if the new owner chooses to shoot it. All of the controls on this Femaru are in perfect working order, and the action is slick and precise with an excellent slide-to-frame fit. There is no way to know whether the soldier that brought the gun home made them to possibly replace damaged originals, or if they were a later addition because they were "more attractive". The new owner can leave these on the gun or find an original pair to replace them with.

The handsome homemade wooden grips are in good condition and nicely made, free from any cracks, chips, or repairs. The bore is minty and mirror-bright, with sharp lands and grooves in the rifling and no pitting, erosion, or visible imperfections of any kind.
